Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide expert psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients with varying mental health needs. This role requires a compassionate approach and commitment to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and collaborative care.

Primary Duties

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans including psychotherapy and medication management.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and families about psychiatric conditions and management options.
• Maintain accurate, detailed clinical documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Engage in continuous professional development and clinical audits.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Psychiatry.
• Valid medical license to practice psychiatry.
• Minimum of 5 years post-certification clinical experience in psychiatry.
• Strong clinical knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatments.
• Excellent communication skills and empathy towards patients.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Dedication to ongoing learning and implementing best practices.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
