Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and Western-qualified Consultant Interventional Radiologist to join a multidisciplinary team delivering advanced minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The successful candidate will utilize cutting-edge imaging technologies to diagnose and treat a wide range of vascular and non-vascular conditions while ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety, and clinical excellence.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a modern healthcare environment equipped with state-of-the-art imaging and interventional radiology facilities.

Requirements

Perform a comprehensive range of image-guided minimally invasive procedures, including vascular and non-vascular interventions.

Diagnose and treat complex medical conditions using fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI guidance.

Perform angiography, angioplasty, embolization, thrombolysis, vascular access procedures, biopsies, drainages, ablations, and other interventional procedures.

Collaborate closely with surgeons, oncologists, nephrologists, cardiologists, emergency physicians, and other specialists to develop individualized treatment plans.

Interpret diagnostic imaging studies accurately and provide timely clinical reports.

Assess patients before procedures, obtain informed consent, and manage peri-procedural care.

Monitor patients during and after procedures while ensuring patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and tumor boards where applicable.

Supervise junior physicians, radiology fellows, and technologists as required.

Maintain accurate electronic medical records and procedural documentation.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, departmental audits, and clinical governance activities.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, UAE healthcare regulations, and international accreditation standards.
