Your new role

Ramboll is seeking a highly motivated Environmental, Health and Safety Consultant to join the firm! We invite you to bring your strong analytical abilities into play as you evaluate regulatory compliance risks, contamination and other environmental, health and safety issues.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Completing environmental site assessments of industrial and commercial sites.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews of multi-site portfolios for attorneys, lenders, developers, and industrial clients.
  • Completing and managing limited environmental compliance reviews of industrial sites, by reviewing and abstracting regulatory requirements for multi-media environmental compliance.
  • Prepare, assemble and submit federal and state environmental permit applications (air emissions, wastewater discharge, hazardous waste registration, land use/impact permits) including required technical attachments and application fees.
  • Supporting in preparing environmental impact studies, including sections and technical appendices, under Mexican regulatory frameworks.
  • Supporting projects in achieving conformance and compliance with international sustainability standards.
  • About 40% of travel mainly within Mexico.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Chemical Engineering or Sciences, Sustainability, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or other related Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology field with related consulting experience.  Masters’ degree in related field is a plus and 
  • 3+ years of related EHS experience. 
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.  A valid driver's license and passport required.
