What You Will Do:
Handle construction project budgets, schedules, and risk tracking to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery within approved scope.
Review project plans and provide constructability input, including cost, sequencing, scheduling, and overall project execution considerations.
Prepare and support construction cost and schedule estimates for pipeline and facility projects using industry practices and historical data.
Support Engineering and Supply Chain activities, including contract specifications, bid evaluations, procurement documentation, and contractor coordination.
Coordinate field construction activities, contractors, operating groups, permits, and commissioning requirements while tracking project progress, costs, contracts, submittals, and change orders.
Conduct site inspections, quality and safety reviews, ensure compliance with standards and procedures, and identify improvement opportunities.
Who You Are:
University degree or related construction or operational training combined.
2-4 years of related experience (in construction project management, construction coordination, construction cost estimating, or similar project work) or a combination of education and experience. For candidates who do not possess a university degree, an additional 3-years of experience is required (a total of 5+ years).
Knowledge of construction principles, drawings, schedules, budgets, contracts, submittals, change orders, service outage coordination, and quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
Planning, organizational, communication, presentation, customer service, and teamwork skills.
Skilled in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera); a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field and PMP certification are considered assets.
Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
Working Conditions:
Office / field combination (25-75% / up to 75%) to assist with construction projects, field activities, contractors, clients, and site personnel.
Work may involve construction site exposure and requires attention to safety, environmental controls, quality requirements, project schedules, and coordination with operating groups during service outages.
A valid driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required which will be validated before hire.
Salary:
Ranges from $55,800 – $75,000 USD for U.S. locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
