Estimator – Build the Future with UFP Site Built

We’re looking for a detail-driven, solution-oriented Estimator to join our dynamic team. If you thrive on turning blueprints into reality and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
 
What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze architectural and engineered drawings to create precise material estimates (lumber, siding, trim, hardware, etc.)
  • Prepare and submit competitive proposals that win projects
  • Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure smooth execution from estimate to delivery
  • Provide technical support and problem-solving using building codes and product specs
  • Assist fellow estimators and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
  • Communicate clearly across departments and with clients to ensure alignment and success

What You Bring:

  • 2-3 years of experience in single-family, multi-family or commercial construction estimating
  • Strong ability to perform manual material take-offs
  • Familiarity with Planswift, Timberline, Bluebeam or Excel for estimating
  • Hands-on framing or construction experience is a big plus
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and building codes
  • Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Hourly Pay Range: $25-35/hr *dependent on experience*
 

Bonus/Incentive Pay: Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, trip rates, and employee referral bonuses. A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
