We are presently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Configuration Management/Data Management (CM/DM) Specialist to join our Engineering and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of configuration and data management processes for complex systems. Your efforts will play a key part in maintaining the integrity of project data and supporting configuration control through the program lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) plans, processes, and procedures to meet program requirements.
  • Establish and maintain configuration baselines to ensure program accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage data collection, recording, processing, and control of all changes using Raytheon’s Configuration Status Accounting system.
  • Maintain the technical library, including documentation processing, control of withdrawals, and maintaining current change status records for released and issued documents.
  • Facilitate the Configuration Control Board (CCB) process, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment of CM/DM tasks with Raytheon Canada Limited’s engineering, ILS, and project management policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Engineering teams to support CM/DM activities.
  • Assist in managing system requirements for developmental systems involving multiple subcontractors.
  • Coordinate and manage engineering-related documentation, including specifications, Interface Control Documents, test requirements, and test plans.
  • Provide CM/DM metrics to support Technical Performance Measures (TPMs) for tracking project progress and assessing risks.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in configuration management, data management, or a related field, preferably in an aviation or aerospace environment.
  • Strong understanding of configuration management principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage large volumes of data and documentation with precision.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with defense or aerospace industry standards and requirements is a strong asset.
  • Certification in configuration management (e.g., CMII or CMPIC) is an asset.
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and obtain/maintain a Government of Canada security clearance and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods.

This position is eligible for consideration of a hybrid work arrangement with set onsite days.
