Concrete Finishers

We are currently hiring experienced and motivated Concrete Finishers to join our construction team in Augusta, Maine. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in producing high-quality concrete surfaces and working in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Set and align concrete forms according to blueprints and project specifications
• Mix, pour, spread, and level concrete to required depth and pitch
• Operate hand and power tools including trowels, floats, screeds, and edging tools
• Smooth and finish concrete surfaces to achieve quality appearance and durability
• Apply sealants, curing compounds, and surface treatments
• Monitor concrete curing and make adjustments as needed for weather and site conditions
• Cut expansion and control joints to prevent cracking
• Work closely with laborers, carpenters, and supervisors to complete projects safely and efficiently
• Maintain tools, equipment, and clean work areas

Qualifications

• Previous concrete finishing experience preferred
• Knowledge of concrete placement, finishing techniques, and curing processes
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and measurements
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and perform demanding labor
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic required
