Concrete Carpenter

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Concrete Laborer / Carpenter to join our construction team in Augusta, Maine. You will assist with forming, pouring, finishing, and repairing concrete structures while maintaining a safe and productive job site.

Pay $25-28 an hour

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and construction drawings
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood and metal formwork
• Build and set concrete forms for foundations, walls, slabs, and structural components
• Install reinforcing materials including rebar and wire mesh
• Assist with pouring and placing concrete
• Operate vibrators and finishing tools to ensure proper concrete consolidation and smooth surfaces
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, and bracing
• Strip and clean forms after concrete has cured
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company procedures

Qualifications

• Experience in concrete construction, carpentry, or general labor preferred
• Ability to read tape measures and basic construction plans
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
• Valid driver’s license preferred
