Computer Science Teacher

We are looking for a Computer Science Teacher for a bilingual school based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2026.

About the school

A bilingual school, which was founded five years ago, is situated in Huangpu and Pudong district of Shanghai. It provides bilingual teaching to students from first grade to the 12th grade of elementary, middle and high school. The school follows the Chinese national curriculum and has elements from the British IGCSE and A levels curriculums to meet the academic needs of its students.

Job details

• Teach the subject of computer science in line with IGCSE/A-level to secondary school students, ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Being involved in reviewing curriculum needs and, in consultation with the school, to select courses that are appropriate to the needs of our students;
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in relevant subject major
• More than 2 years of in-class teaching experience
• Familiar in teaching IGCSE/A-level
• Hold a teaching qualification preferred
• Excellent English communication skills
