We have an exciting opportunity for an Composite Engineer to join our team at the Adelanto Flight Test Facility.
Under general supervision and with on-going review, this position supports the engineering staff in the analysis, investigation, and resolution of engineering problems of moderate scope and complexity. Assignments are for small projects or phase(s) of larger projects(s) and are normally outlined in terms of specific engineering activities. Engineering tasks involve the exercise of independent judgment and discretion about matters of significance. Documents findings and implemented solutions and communicates results to engineering staff. Contacts are primarily internal with infrequent inter-organization or customer contact.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides floor and field support to operations as required to analyze, investigate, and resolve manufacturing and modification related issues.
- Communicates engineering, manufacturing, and quality requirements in accordance with drawings and technical subject matter.
- Collaborates with quality, program management, engineering, functional management, and customer management as required to ensure all products meet or exceed the requirements of external or internal customers.
- Performs root cause analysis for manufacturing issues encountered and is able to quickly provide containment and path forward.
- Tracks design on related issues to incorporation and provides input and direction to design engineering, program management and quality.
- Keeps management informed of product performance, quality status, risks and customer concerns. Passes information up and down the management chain efficiently and effectively.
- Thrives in a fast-paced work environment with constant change of tasks and expected completion dates.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
