The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.</span></div><p style="margin: 0 0 8pt">The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found <a href="https://apps01.civilservice.louisiana.gov/onestopjobinfo/DisplayJobSpec.aspx?JobCode=171010" target="_blank"><u>here</u></a>.</p><p style="margin: 0 0 8pt"><u>Job Duties:</u></p><p style="margin: 0 0 8pt"><strong>Process Complaints and Conducting Investigations: </strong></p><ul><li><p style="margin-top: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-bottom: 8pt">Receives, reviews, and evaluates written and oral complaints from the public filed against Licensees, or from other sources of information (BAD AR Reports, NPDB Repo11s, LSP Anest Reports, US DOJ Press Releases, Public new stories, Malpractice Reports, etc) which indicate a Board licensee may have violated a State/Federal law and/or the Boards Rules and Regulations. </p></li><li><p style="margin-top: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-bottom: 8pt">Researches a variety of internal and external records, to include State and Federal Laws and Board Regulations related to specific investigative case issues. Develop investigative plans for each case which may include preparing written communications; obtaining and reviewing complex medical records; reviewing malpractice or criminal legal documentation; interviewing licensees, complainants, or other pailies; and preparing detailed reports of investigative findings.
