Job description
The Compliance Administrator plays a critical role ensuring that an organization adheres to legal standards maintaining regulatory compliance and mitigating risks.

General Responsibilities
• Updates compliance policies and procedures in accordance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Assists with regular audits to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
• Monitors organizational activities to identify potential compliance issues.
• Prepares and presents audit reports with findings and recommendations for improvement.
• Identifies and manages compliance risks within the organization.
• Recommends strategies to mitigate identified risks
• Stays current with changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
• Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

The HS Code Classification Specialist, Global Trade Compliance (GTC) supports the Customs Harmonized System(HS) Code activities for all Sensata legal entities and supports the business and functions in preventing HS code disputes and resolving HS code issues that may otherwise result in cross border delays. This role interacts with the Global import and export functions. This role works as primary Trade Compliance point of contact providing HS classification assistance to the business globally. 
A key responsibility of this high visibility role is to help perform the HS code classification and determine tariff rate to ensure the business to achieve the cross-border deliveries with compliance and reasonable duty Close collaboration with Global Trade Compliance, Engineers, Logistics, Customer Service, Sourcing is required to successfully enable compliance.
