The Compensation Lead will play a key role in shaping and enhancing compensation strategies that support business objectives and employee success.
This position focuses on designing, implementing, and improving enterprise-wide compensation programs through data-driven insights and market analysis.
You will collaborate with HR partners, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to evaluate pay structures, ensure competitiveness, and promote equitable practices.
The role requires a balance of analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to influence decisions at all levels.
You will have the opportunity to solve complex compensation challenges and contribute to initiatives around pay transparency, career frameworks, and employee experience.
Working in a remote environment, you will operate as a trusted advisor while driving impactful compensation solutions across the organization.

Accountabilities:

    The Compensation Lead is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing compensation programs that align with organizational goals and market practices. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, business judgment, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.

    • Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide compensation programs and initiatives aligned with business strategy and pay objectives.
    • Conduct research and analysis of employee, market, and financial data to identify trends, provide insights, and support compensation decisions.
    • Develop recommendations, presentations, and reports for senior leadership to guide compensation strategies.
    • Manage projects related to market competitiveness, pay structures, recognition programs, career frameworks, pay equity, and pay transparency.
    • Monitor compensation program effectiveness and collaborate with HR and compensation teams to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Provide consultation and guidance on complex compensation matters while exercising independent judgment.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business priorities.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate combines compensation expertise, analytical strength, and consulting skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
      • 5+ years of experience in compensation, compensation program evaluation, or related HR analytical functions.
      • Strong experience analyzing compensation data and developing recommendations aligned with business objectives.
      • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
      • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with diverse departments.
      • Strong research, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
      • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
      • Strong business acumen and experience supporting leaders through data-driven decision-making.
      • Experience working with HR technology platforms such as Workday is preferred.
      • Experience with Power BI, workforce analytics, or data visualization tools is a plus.
      • Background in HR consulting, operational environments, or organizational change initiatives is preferred.
