JOB DESCRIPTION
Hoboken Grace Community Church is looking for a part-time intern for our Communications Department. The individual will work directly with our Communications Director and staff team to ensure all day-to-day operations of the Communications team are planned and executed.
This position is ideal for anyone who is pursuing a career in communications, journalism, or marketing – and is looking to gain valuable hands-on experience in a non-profit environment. The candidate must be able to work on-site in Hoboken, NJ and must be eligible to work in the United States.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Have an introductory knowledge of basic communication/journalism principles
- Familiarity with major social media platforms
- Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets
- Detail and task-oriented
- Ability to multitask and balance multiple projects at once
- Knowledge of Google Ads/Analytics platforms are a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing social and live media schedules
- Ideating and executing social media and/or blog posts
- Copywriting for various website, app, social media, and live communication
- Assisting Communications Director with Press Releases
- Capturing live footage of events
- Ensuring all social media, web, and app pages are up to date
SCHEDULE
- May 26 - August 13, 2026
- 15 - 20 hours per week depending on candidate
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
- $500 stipend at the end of the internship
