Commodities Project Manager

The successful candidate will join Millennium as a Technical Project Manager/Business Analyst in support of managing technical initiatives in coordination with Global Commodities Middle Office and Operations teams. Main areas of focus will be working towards building out the firm's pricing, valuations and p&l framework and streamlining trade/position management workflows.

Principal Responsibilities

• Effectively collaborate with Commodities MO & Ops teams in gathering requirements and creating technical specifications in coordination with Technology teams.

• Manage the inventory and prioritization of initiatives and system/workflow enhancements

• Manage documentation structure of critical MO & Ops workflows/artifacts and liaise with related teams in maintenance

Qualifications/Skills

• Min 5 years of technical project management/business analyst experience at a Commodities trading house

• Strong experience with technology infrastructure and systems data flows

• Strong powerpoint/project management software experience

• Demonstrated experience in workflow automation and process improvement

• Detail oriented; demonstrates thoroughness and strong ownership of work

• Independent worker with a strong ability to collaborate across teams

• Able to prioritize and deliver in a fast moving, high pressure, dynamic environment

Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
