Job description

Offit Kurman, a growing full-service law firm, is seeking a Senior Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join our Charlotte office.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, and leasing. This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial attorney looking to grow their practice with the support of a collaborative and business-minded firm.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions
  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, financing documents, disclosure agreements, development agreements, and commercial leases
  • Significant contract review, drafting and negotiation
  • Manage transactions from inception to closing with extensive client contact and minimal supervision

Qualifications

  • Licensed and in good standing in North Carolina.
  • South Carolina bar is preferred but not required.
  • 8+ years of commercial real estate experience, with a strong background in complex transactions
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
