This role serves as a strategic finance business partner to the Service General Manager, supporting one of the largest and most profitable business segments in Japan. The position provides leadership across P&L management, FP&A, controllership, and operating finance activities while driving sustainable commercial growth and operational excellence. Working closely with regional finance leaders, the role owns key operating metrics and financial performance, establishes performance benchmarks, and delivers actionable insights that support business growth and operational outcomes.

Job Description

Role and Responsibility

• Be a strong finance business partner to lead Japan business sustainable growth and demonstrate strong leadership skill
• Be a strong finance business partner with GMs and business directors to lead Japan service business sustainable growth and demonstrate strong leadership skill.
• Have ownership in analyzing operating metrics and financial results, establishing benchmarks and driving operational outcomes for Japan business. 
• Responsible for providing insights to business leaders by financial planning, analysis, reporting to local business partner/ global with clear communication. Be a strong finance business partner to lead Japan business sustainable growth and demonstrate strong leadership skill.
• Responsible for managing the business cycle- 3 year plan, budget, forecasts at each level of the organization. Define KPIs to measure the performance in all areas of the organization. Analyze the performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash generation as well as corrective action plans as needed.
• Decision making / judgement as finance partner utilizes in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy. Basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
• Have leadership to drive and resolve complex situations / problems including external customers . Excellent communication skill and collaborate stakeholders internal / external.
• Has ability to prioritize for resource allocation.
• Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and external sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

Required Qualifications

• This role requires advanced experience in the Finance & FP&A Operations.
• Minimum 7-10 years finance experience and leadership experience
• Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing in both English and Japanese
