Commercial Electrician

Overview:

FLM has been doing business in FL since 2016. We focus on commercial service and retrofitting of electrical systems and lighting. National clients served with a local touch. Our company is seeking a skilled commercial electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial electrical and lighting systems. They should have excellent technical skills, experience in commercial electrical systems, applicable equipment experience and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

​Responsibilities:

Install and repair commercial lighting systems, including wiring, fixtures, and control systems
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs
Operate company vehicles and equipment
Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines
Maintain accurate records of all work completed and materials used
Communicate effectively with team members

​Requirements:
​
Clean Florida Driver’s license
Clean criminal background
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience in commercial electrical systems
Valid electrician's license or certification *Florida Journeyman’s license preferred*
Strong technical skills and understanding of electrical systems and components
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
Knowledge of local and national electrical codes and regulations
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Flexibility to work on-call or outside of regular business hours

​Preferred Qualifications:
​
Experience with LED lighting systems
Experience working with commercial buildings and systems
Experience operating applicable equipment: Bucket truck, Crane truck, skid steer, scissor lift
Familiarity with building automation systems
OSHA 10 or 30 certification

Work Hours:

M-F 6am-Completion of Work
