We are committed to this level of quality in both our product line and customer service, and focus our resources on investigating and implementing new coil coating technologies, developing unique coatings, ink and film systems, and designing multifaceted prints while reducing the cycle time to market. We are able to achieve this "culture of excellence" thru the hard work and talent of the people on our team.

This is a pivotal role for AZZ Precoat Metals, supporting the general accounting and commercial administrative functions for a growing, publicly traded company with 14 facilities across the United States.

The selected candidate will serve as a valued contributor on the Finance Team — operating as the primary point of contact for all customer-related agreements, assisting with month-end close duties in accordance with GAAP, contributing to the forecasting and budgeting process, and helping administer business compliance across our control environment. This role also proactively drives process improvement, consisting of delivering meaningful insights, data, and conclusions to the wider organization

At AZZ Precoat Metals, our Finance team is more than a back-office function — we are a high-performing controllership organization committed to influencing and enabling profitable, sustainable growth, grounded in integrity, teamwork, and a relentless drive to add value.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with a strong work ethic, a collaborative spirit, and a genuine passion for accuracy and successful outcomes.

  • Actively participate in the month-end close process by preparing journal entries in accordance with GAAP, delivering accurate financial statement preparation, and ensuring regulatory, general ledger, and balance sheet compliance
  • Contribute meaningfully to planning and budgeting processes that shape the direction of the business
  • Prepare scrap reconciliations and serve as a key point of contact for corresponding customer service needs
  • Champion process improvement initiatives, including playing an active role in our new ERP system integration
  • Partner with internal and external auditors to drive successful quarterly and annual audits, including conducting physical inventories and plant audits
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure contract terms are commercially sound and financially accurate
  • Track and monitor deal reviews through the approval pipeline, ensuring all commercial terms are reviewed and signed off by relevant stakeholders before execution
  • Calculate and administer customer agreements in accordance with contractual terms, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline contract management and administration, reporting capabilities and deal review processes through systems and automation
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures for contract administration
  • Deliver clear, actionable information, data, and insights to finance and cross-functional department teams
  • Take ownership of special projects as assigned, bringing the same rigor and enthusiasm to every task
