Performs certificate of use/Business Tax Receipts (BTRs) inspections. Work is performed under limited supervision with moderate latitude. Experience in code enforcement or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience beyond high school diploma or GED and difficult public contact; conducting inspections, reviewing plans, processing code enforcement, building/zoning, or business tax receipt documentation.</p><p>Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements) or obtain within one year of employment. Must have a Florida Association of Code Enforcement (F.A.C.E.) certifications in fundamental of Code Enforcement or obtain within one (1) year of employment start date.
