Key Responsibilities:

The Coatings Production Support Specialist will report to the Production Manager and provide support to production activities, which involves learning and using the Company ERP system to maintain production inventory, order chemicals and materials, generate production documentation, and close out manufacturing orders. In addition, the Coatings Production Support Specialist will track production assignments, develop and maintain process instructions, and assist in maintaining company proprietary information and coatings classified information.

Essential Functions:

For this position, candidates should have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, can multitask, can work independently with limited supervision, and are highly organized. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, as they will be working in a team environment. Candidates must also demonstrate a willingness to assist with technical activities, manufacturing processes, and other assignments, as needed, as well as a willingness to learn new processes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, manufacturing, or related field, plus 0-2 years of experience or associate’s degree in business, manufacturing, or related field, plus 2-4 years of experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government secret clearance.

Minimum Physical Requirements:

• Regularly or frequently talking, hearing, touching, grasping, standing, walking, reaching with hands/arms and performing repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement.
• Light work exerting up to 40 pounds of force.
• Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less, three-dimensional vision, ability to identify and distinguish colors, and ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus to review test results, view PC screen, read technical manuals.
• Expected to use hand truck, pallet jack, and other tools for inventory movement and transfer.
