CO-OP/INTERNS- INDUSTRIAL

Job Summary**
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Industrial CO-OPs/Interns to join our team at Valeo North America. This role provides hands-on experience in various industrial functions, supporting our manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives. Interns will contribute to real-world projects and gain valuable insight into the automotive industry.

Job Responsibilities**
* Assist with process optimization and efficiency improvements on the production floor.
* Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
* Participate in data collection, analysis, and reporting related to production metrics and key performance indicators.
* Aid in troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions.
* Contribute to continuous improvement projects, including identifying areas for improvement and developing solutions.
* Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams on various assignments.
* Document processes, procedures, and project progress.
* Support health, safety, and environmental initiatives within the manufacturing facility.
* Perform other duties as assigned to support department objectives.

Job Qualifications**
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Prior experience in a manufacturing setting or with lean principles is a plus.
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
