What you’ll do:

The primary function of the Application Engineer Co-op is to provide technical application support to customers, sales and other
Bussmann division departments. The Application Engineer Co-op will support more technical and in-depth email inquiries. The
Application Engineer Co-op will be viewed as the technical expert on Bussmann series products and their application.

 

  • Provide in-depth technical application support to customers via phone, chat, and email.
  • Actively engage in the training of customers and Division personnel.
  • Develop and update training materials.
  • Act as the technical expert from the factory.
  • Provide guidance on NEC, UL, CSA, & IEC requirements for overcurrent and overvoltage protection

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Working toward a B.S. in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Major in Electrical Engineering.
  • Two years of coursework completed.
