CNC Machine Operator

Location: 75 Main Street, North Tonawanda

Job Type: Full-time

Reports To: Lead CNC Operator & Production Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an entry-level and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator.

Key Responsibilities

Setup and Operation:

• CNC operators are responsible for setting up the machines, which includes installing cutting tools, selecting appropriate machine settings, and loading materials.

• Monitor machine during operation, ensuring they are functioning correctly and making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• CNC Operators perform inspections of finished parts to ensure they meet the required specifications and dimensions, often using precision measuring tools.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A strong understanding of CNC machines, tools, and machining processes is essential.
• The ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Have the ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during operation.
• Accuracy and precision are vital so a keen eye for detail is necessary.
• Effective communication skills are needed to interact with other team members and report any issues.

• Education: High school diploma required; associate’s degree in a related field helpful, but not necessary.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts), and work in varying warehouse conditions.

Rate of Pay $21-$25 / hr based on experience

40 hours per week with occasional over-time

Compensation Range

The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
