Job Summary

This position will set-up, operate, and clean up various CNC machines to produce various parts for computer servers.

Essential Functions

  • Set-up and operate CNC machine with minimal supervision.
  • Interpret blueprints, work orders
  • Use precision measuring tools.
  • Clean and maintain machines, tooling, and parts to maintain equipment in optimal production condition.
  • Follows all safety regulations and practices safety awareness at all times.
  • May be required to edit programming of machine.
  • Conforms with ESD policy and safety practices.

Basic Qualification

  • Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a "protected person”)
  • Six to eight months experience in a metalworking manufacturing environment or equivalent
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- includes physical requirements

  • Experience using precision measuring equipment, gauges, and other machinist hand tools needed
  • Experience programming in Mastercam or editing G-code is a plus
  • Ability to operate CNC machines, grinders, and other hand tools
  • Capable of lifting and maneuvering up to 50-lb. twelve-foot long aluminum bar stock
  • Ability to stand up for long periods up-to-eight or more hours at a time
  • Must be able to reach above head to remove stock
