Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to manufacture precision parts in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
  • Program CNC machines as required, interpret G-code, and adjust programs to optimize machining processes.
  • Conduct regular quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machining and machine-related issues promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
  • Collaborate with team members and engineers to improve machine performance and production efficiency.
  • Stay updated on the latest CNC machining technologies and best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CNC Operative or Machinist in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation, including G-code proficiency.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files accurately.
  • Skilled in using precision measuring tools and quality control techniques.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a team setting.
