Job description

Aureol Global Connections is seeking a talented CNC Operative/Machinist to join our dedicated team. This role is essential for producing high-quality components using advanced CNC machinery. As a CNC Operative/Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines while ensuring that every part produced meets our rigorous quality standards. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize machining processes. Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to fabricate precision parts according to technical specifications.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.
  • Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Perform regular inspections of finished products using precision measuring tools.
  • Troubleshoot machine and process-related issues effectively and accurately.
  • Document production activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize processes and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CNC Operative or Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming, operation, and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications.
  • Proficient in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards of quality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes in the production environment.
