AFTERNOON SHIFT CNC TURNER OPERATORS

EMPLOYER PROFILE

Ristara Recruitment are working in partnership with a Derbyshire based precision manufacturing company which produces High end fabricated and machined components for the Aerospace industry and MOD sector. The company is a small well-established company within the midlands with a solid order book and steady growth. KEY DUTIES FOR THE CNC TURNER OPERATORS

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Operate and set various CNC Turning machines
  • Operate twin turret and multi spindle machining centres
  • Ensure your work station is kept clean and tidy
  • Ability to complete basic inspection of parts

KEY EXPERIENCE FOR THE CNC TURNER OPERATORS

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience CNC operating turning machines
  • Experience of operating 2/3 axis CNC lathes
  • Experience of using Fanuc control panels
  • Experience of working with machined and fabricated parts of various sizes
  • Able to work on your own initiative is essential
  • Working to tight tolerances (Microns)
  • Working with various metals
  • NVQ or City & Guilds in engineering

In addition to a competitive salary the successful CNC TURNER OPERATORS will be able to work overtime at a rate of 1.33 during the week and 1.5 at the weekends allowing candidates to maximise their earning potential during the constant busy periods our client currently works under.

Standard hours of work would be Monday - Thursday 3pm-11pm
