Job description

Position Overview: 
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The CNA will provide direct patient care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being while maintaining a safe and clean environment. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents by providing personalized care and support. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. 

  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff. 

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and their families. 

  • Assist with feeding, ensuring residents receive appropriate nutrition. 

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. 

  • Document care provided and other relevant information in electronic medical records (EMR). 

  • Follow infection control protocols and adhere to facility policies and procedures. 

  • Provide assistance with therapeutic and recreational activities as needed. 

  • Support the nursing team in all aspects of resident care. 

Qualifications: 

  • Current CNA certification in the state of Oregon. 

  • Valid CPR/BLS certification. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused attitude. 

  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred, but not required. 

  • Ability to lift and move residents as needed. 

  • Must pass background checks and drug screening.
