Club Sports - Stream Team

Job Title: Stream Team     

Department: Club Sports

Supervisor: Stephen Denny

Starting Rate of Pay: $8.00 hourly

Length of Time: Eligible for rehire on a semester basis.

Job Description:

The Stream Team for Intercollegiate Club Sports will serve together to stream all home athletic events.

Job Location/ Hours Required:

Hours may vary depending on the job requirements; however, the total number of hours a student employee may work per week is 20 hours. Position reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Intercollegiate Club Sports

Responsibilities:

• Meet regularly with part-time club coaches/students
• Lead according to the club sports manual of operations
• Communicate directly with club coaches and students to assist with program management.
• Attend HPU events to promote the club sports program, as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Sports Media degree preferred
• Athletics background a plus

Desired Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be highly organized
• Must have knowledge of programming and administering club sports
• Knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, and adobe creative cloud (photo shop)
• Must be able to be a team player,
• Ability to demonstrate a commitment to High Point University's Vision, Mission, and Values and the values of the HPU Athletic Department
