Position characteristics

Vodafone Business is strategically expanding its cloud services to meet the growing needs of its clients. We are seeking an individual with a passion for technology and a strong familiarity with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.

You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft Azure cloud services with focus on security and network. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with exceptional professionals from various departments, including architecture, product teams, and DevOps. Together, you will develop cutting-edge services for our clients.

Czech language is needed.

What will you do here?

• Implementing reliable, scalable and secure solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.
• Identify business requirements and corresponding solutions to stakeholders and clients.
• Collaborate with Architecture and Product management on implementation of best-in-class Microsoft Azure solutions.
• Define, set and evaluate security standards in alignment with associated risks with cloud deployments.
• Integrating security measures into overall cloud infrastructure design.
• Ensure that cloud deployments comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Application of network technologies knowledge to contribute to network design, implementation and operation.
• Develop secured network solutions based on client’s needs.
• Provide consultancy and support to our clients in network and security area.
• Be responsible for network security design, implementation and operation.
• Designs and implements complex firewall configurations and policies.
• Create and maintain automation scripts.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to security and network.

What knowledge and skills do we expect?

• You have a solid understanding of Microsoft Azure, honed through years of experience that have given you a high degree of confidence and stability.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure security & network concepts. Any other public cloud and private cloud experience is an advantage.
• You have hands-on experience with Azure-based network solutions, including virtual networks, subnets, NSGs, VPNs, load balancers, etc.
• Broader understanding of on premises network solutions like Cisco, Fortinet, etc.
• Proficiency in security assessment tools and methodologies.
• Experience with any automation tool, e.g. Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC tools is big advantage.
• Certifications such as AZ-500, AZ-700, or any other Azure certifications are highly desirable.
• A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into actionable solutions.
• You’re passionate about technology, eager to learn, and always staying one step ahead.
• You are not scared to meet our clients face to face. Czech language is needed.
