Cloud Engineer / Architect (Saudi Arabia)

Eram Talent is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer / Architect to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions that align with our clients' business objectives. You will play a critical role in architecting scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructures, supporting cloud migration initiatives, and optimizing cloud environments across various platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead cloud migration projects including assessment, planning, and execution phases.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Manage and optimize cloud resources to ensure availability, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate on-premises and cloud environments.
• Monitor cloud performance and implement automation for continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance on cloud best practices, security compliance, and cost management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering and architecture roles, preferably in multinational environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with at least two major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of networking, security frameworks, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance standards.
• Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
