Job description

Optimiza is looking for a skilled Cloud Administrator to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security of our cloud services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and scale our cloud environment according to business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure across various platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Provision, configure, and optimize cloud resources to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Implement best practices for cloud security, including IAM policies and network configurations.
  • Automate cloud operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Perform regular backups, disaster recovery testing, and data archiving procedures.
  • Monitor cloud performance and costs, providing recommendations for optimization.
  • Support DevOps teams in deploying applications and services in the cloud.
  • Document processes, configurations, and cloud architecture as necessary.
  • Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends, recommending new solutions to improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in cloud administration or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud service platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their key services.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, security protocols, and cloud architecture best practices.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and cost management strategies in the cloud.
  • Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus.
