This individual is responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients at the WSH. The psychologist provides administration, interpretation, and write-up of psychological testing administered to patients as requested. The area surrounding Evanston is excellent for recreational activities such as hiking, camping, fishing, biking, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing.&nbsp;</span></p><br><strong>Human Resource Contact: Brenda Hales / <a>[email protected]</a> / 307-677-5951</strong><br><br><br><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong>&nbsp; The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function which may be performed in the job level.<br><br><br><ul><li>Provides psychological evaluation for purposes of admission screening, treatment planning, diagnostic clarification, readiness for discharge, and community placement, guardianship, and as required to determine eligibility for other services.</li><li>Diagnoses and treats mental and emotional disorders. &nbsp;Treatment includes individual, group and family therapies and may involve a number of different formats such as the use of cognitive-behavioral treatment techniques.</li><li>Provides and interprets psychological testing, including the evaluation of mental illness, intelligence, personality, and neuropsychological functioning.</li><li>Confers with interdisciplinary care teams to discuss, plan, and determine course of action in patient/client care.</li><li>Designs, constructs, installs, and implements treatment programs for a treatment unit, section, or group.<br><br></li></ul><br><strong>KNOWLEDGE:</strong><br><br><br><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li>Knowledge of clinical supervision techniques, theory, and practices.</li><li>Knowledge of working in an inpatient facility</li><li>Knowledge of working in and designing interdisciplinary treatment plans</li></ul><br><br><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</strong><br><br><br><strong>Education:</strong><br>PsyD or PhD in Psychology<br><br><strong>Experience:</strong><br>2-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Psychology)<br><br><strong>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:</strong><br>Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Wyoming<br><br><strong>PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong><br><br><br><ul style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 3pt"><li>Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there will be some walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, etc.</li></ul><br><br><br><strong>NOTES:</strong>&nbsp;<br><br><br><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li>FLSA: &nbsp;Exempt</li><li dir="ltr" style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none"><p dir="ltr" style="margin: 0"><span style="color: inherit; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">A background check, including fingerprinting, will be completed through the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation, the Wyoming Department of Family Services, and the F.B.I. for every successful applicant.</span></p></li><li dir="ltr" style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none"><p dir="ltr" style="margin: 0"><span style="color: inherit; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing will be conducted on safety-sensitive positions.
