Job description
At H1, we believe access to the best healthcare information is a basic human right. Our mission is to provide a platform that can optimally inform every doctor interaction globally. This promotes health equity and builds needed trust in healthcare systems. To accomplish this our teams harness the power of data and AI-technology to unlock groundbreaking medical insights and convert those insights into action that result in optimal patient outcomes and accelerates an equitable and inclusive drug development lifecycle.  Visit h1.co to learn more about us.

We are looking for a Business Analyst to support a dedicated team building and evolving a clinical data platform serving the clinical operations space. In this role, you will report to a client manager to map clinical operations processes, identify business pain points, and help translate them into actionable, data-informed solutions.

This is a Senior Business Analyst role — you will be expected to work independently, think critically, and communicate structured ideas clearly to stakeholders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AT H1
- Analyze clinical operations processes across the trial lifecycle, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders, translating needs into clear problem statements and solution frameworks
- Develop structured presentations and storytelling slides to communicate findings and recommendations
- Collaborate with the senior consultant and client-facing team to move from problem definition to proposed solutions
- Apply industry knowledge to understand how functions like clinical recruitment impact broader trial outcomes

ABOUT YOU
- A structured thinker who can break down complex processes and identify where value is lost
- Someone who has earned trust to work independently — not someone who needs constant direction
- Curious about the clinical space and quick to pick up new terminology and context
- Comfortable in stakeholder-facing settings alongside senior team members
- A clear, confident communicator — in writing, in slides, and in conversation

REQUIREMENTS
- Prior experience in management consulting as an analyst or consultant, with client-facing, on-site experience.
- Strong PowerPoint, excel, and written communication skills — you can tell a coherent story with slides
- Experience in life sciences, pharma, or clinical research — familiarity with clinical trial processes and terminology
- Comfortable doing independent research, forming a point of view, and bringing ideas forward proactively
H1 OFFERS
- Competitive salary + equity (RSUs)
- 5 weeks paid vacation + company-wide wellness days
- Pension with employer match
- Health, mobile phone & home office stipends
- A culture built on hygge — low hierarchy, high trust, and real autonomy over your work
- Monthly team social (søbar)
- Direct embed with one of the world's top 20 pharmaceutical companies, working on a global initiative with real impact on how clinical research gets done
- Exposure to H1's broader life sciences client network across biotech, pharma, and digital health

H1 is proud to be an equal opportunity employer that celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace with equal opportunity for all applicants and teammates. Our goal is to recruit the most talented people from a diverse candidate pool regardless of race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, disability, sex (including pregnancy), age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

H1 is committed to working with and providing access and reasonable accommodation to applicants with mental and/or physical disabilities. If you require an accommodation, please reach out to your recruiter once you've begun the interview process. All requests for accommodations are treated discreetly and confidentially, as practical and permitted by law.
