Position Description:

Astera Cancer Care/Princeton Radiation Oncology is seeking a Medical Physicist for an exciting career opportunity at St Mary Medical Center in Langhorne PA. The responsibilities of the position include daily clinical services, quality assurance, external beam treatment planning and special procedures such as HDR brachytherapy and stereotactic treatments. The successful candidate will also participate in acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment and new clinical programs. There is also a need to cover at our other centers.

Facility and Equipment:

This is a unique opportunity to become a vital part of our world class team. We are a Physician-owned group providing physics and dosimetry services at four fully accredited radiation oncology treatment facilities in Central New Jersey and Bucks County Pennsylvania. We offer the full scope of state-of-the-art radiation oncology services and have an experienced, stable, highly qualified team of 6 physicists and 6 dosimetrists. ST Mary is using Eclipse / Mosaiq / TrueBeam.

Qualifications:

  • MS or Ph.D. in physics, radiological physics, medical physics or a related specialty.
  • Certification by the ABR, or the ABMP or board eligible.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Experience with HDR and Radiosurgery preferred.

Pay Range: $220K - $280K

Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
