 MUSC Health Hospice at Home by BAYADA is currently seeking an experienced health care manager to fill the position of Director in our North Charleston, SC Home Hospice office.

Responsibilities:

  • Works along side the Division Director, share full management responsibility for the office operations and functions, including all client service, clinical operations, employee matters, budgeting, planning, recruiting and fiscal management.
  • Monitor the quality and appropriateness of all services provided by your staff to ensure compliance and client satisfaction while ensuring adequate staff education, training and evaluation.
  • Support your team, and grow your office by keeping abreast of industry and community trends and referral opportunities.
  • Service-focused, professional, warm and communicative, our Directors are embodiments of The BAYADA Way, representing our network of home care professionals to our various audiences across the nation.
  • Establish BAYADA as the home care provider and employer of choice.
  • Monitor the quality and appropriateness of all services provided by office and field staff to ensure compliance and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Strategically plan and budget for growth.
  • Oversee marketing and program development.
  • Hire, develop and supervise high potential office employees.
  • Develop successor planning.
  • Ensure adequate staff education, training and evaluation.
  • Develop and implement a recruitment strategy and plan for field staff.
  • Employ qualified personnel to maintain appropriate staffing for field and office.
  • Manage the office in relation to BAYADA Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct program administration and evaluation.
  • Represent the organization to other groups, agencies, and the general public using accurate public information materials.
  • Inform governing body and staff of current organizational, community, and industry trends.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and collections.

Qualifications include:

  • RN or BSN preferred
  • Minimum two years of verifiable supervisory or management experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in home health care or hospice
  • Knowledge of Medicare regulations, including OASIS and PPS preferred 
  • Knowledge of North Carolina regulations
  • Demonstrated record of goal achievement and of successfully taking on increased responsibility with positive results
  • Proven interpersonal, recruiting and employee relations skills
  • Proven ability to organize, manage, market and grow an office
  • Demonstrated PC and communication skills, especially in regard to networking with the community and representing our organization to various groups and agencies
  • Ambition to grow and advance beyond current position and responsibilities
  • Hospice experience preferred
