Job description

We are looking to add a Clinical Assessment Coordinator to our team.

Schedule: Hybrid schedule, with up to 2 days/week remote (Mid-evening shift, Wednesday thru Sunday)

The Clinical Assessment Coordinator will review pre-admission assessments, completed in the Admissions call center, for determination of appropriateness to ARS facilities. 

Requires coordination with on-site facility staff and Utilization Review team as needed for appropriateness of admission, as well as use of AI technology.

The Clinical Assessment Coordinator will make clinical approvals for appropriate individuals seeking services with ARS, as well as coordinate the Admissions Management team as needed.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Reviews pre-admission assessments for appropriateness to ARS facilities
  • Utilization of AI to facilitate review of medical documents as needed for appropriateness, and escalate to Medical Teams as needed
  • Coordination with Utilization Review Team when needed on medical reviews as well as reviews for insurance needs
  • Coordination with on-site Medical Directors & Admissions Teams when applicable for review process
  • Ensure reviews are done in an efficient and timely manner
  • Have clear understanding of programming and treatment at multiple Advanced Recovery Systems facilities
  • Conducts email correspondence and telephone conversations in a friendly and professional manner
  • Maintains clear communications with supervisors and co-workers
  • Follows all policy and procedures of Advanced Recovery Systems
  • Maintain strict client confidentiality
  • Responsible for demonstrating a positive image of Advanced Recovery Systems
  • Work as a positive team member
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
  • Participate in staff meetings as needed

Requirements

Education:

Minimum bachelor's degree with experience in Behavioral Health field (1-2 yrs. minimum preferred).

Master's Degree preferred.

Experience:

A minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in a treatment setting, Substance Abuse/Recovery agency.

Credentials:

LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent certification.
