Cleaning Technician (PWHT Plant Experience) - Saudi Arabia

We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Technician with experience working in a Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning industrial equipment, components, and work areas while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. The role requires knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and experience working in fabrication or heat treatment environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of PWHT furnaces, fixtures, tools, piping, and associated equipment.
• Clean fabricated components before and after PWHT using approved methods and materials.
• Remove scale, rust, oil, grease, and other contaminants from metal surfaces.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment, including pressure washers, vacuum systems, and hand tools.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, workshops, and storage locations.
• Dispose of waste materials in accordance with company procedures and environmental regulations.
• Support PWHT operations by preparing equipment and work areas for production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate in industrial cleaning or related technical field is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Cleaning Technician in an industrial, fabrication, refinery, or PWHT plant environment.
• Experience working with heavy industrial equipment and metal components.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Understanding of PWHT plant operations and fabrication environments.
• Awareness of HSE standards and safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work in demanding industrial environments.
• Basic communication and reporting skills.
