Class A Driver (Regional)

Wolfe House & Building Movers, LLC is seeking a reliable Class A Driver (Regional) to join our transportation team. In this role, you will safely operate flatbed and stepdeck trailers to transport structural moving equipment and materials across the eastern United States on regional routes.

There is potential to move into heavy haul with Buckingham Heavy Transport, where you would handle oversized and heavy loads. This position offers the opportunity to grow with a reputable company known for its specialties in structural moving and heavy rigging and transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate flatbed and stepdeck trailers on regional routes.
• Load, secure, and unload heavy and oversized equipment and materials.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and cargo.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and project teams.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel use, and hours operated.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL license with good driving record.
• Experience operating flatbed and stepdeck trailers.
• Knowledge of proper load securement techniques for oversize and heavy loads.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety compliance.
• Strong commitment to safety and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel regionally and stay overnight as needed.
