Job Details

• Home daily
• Local flatbed position
• Deliver concrete fiber siding on 48-foot flatbed trailers
• Operate within a 275-mile radius
• No driver loading required
• Freight is preloaded or live loaded by customers
• No driver unloading required
• Freight is drop-and-hook or live unloaded by customers
• Live load times average approximately 1 hour
• Live unload times average approximately 45 minutes
• Consistent freight volumes
• Account may operate on holidays except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day

Special Requirements

• Drivers must tarp and strap every load
• Flatbed training is required and provided
• Tarps can weigh up to 75 pounds
• Drivers must lift tarps above shoulder height
• Drivers will climb on loads up to 10 feet high
• Drivers must apply up to 125 pounds of force when securing freight with ratchet bars
• Ability to work safely at elevated heights

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of Class A CDL driving experience
