Looking for a role where you get variety in your day and be part of a high performing team? We’re on the hunt for a Class 5 Driver /  Freight Operator to join our Nelson branch!

Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

Shift: Monday – Friday 9.30am – 7.00pm

About the role - Mō te tūranga

This is more than just a driving job. You’ll combine Class 5 driving with hands‑on freight handling in a fast‑paced, physical role where teamwork is critical and no two days are the same.

Key duties:

• Load and unload all freight safely and securely, for both road and rail units.
• Achieve branch operational objectives by using On-time to scan freight efficiently.
• Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and proficient manner.
• Maintain good working relationships.
• Communicate effectively within a team environment

What will you bring? – Ōu Pūkenga?

• Clean Full NZ Class 5 License – must have
• Forklift License with OSH cert – must have
• Dangerous Good Endorsement – ideal
• Customer-focused attitude
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Experience driving on New Zealand roads
