Claim Adjuster (Non-Motor)

Job Description :

• Handle end-to-end non-motor claims processes (property, engineering, marine cargo, liability, etc.) from FNOL through to settlement.
• Conduct technical analysis of claim documents, including policies, endorsements, clauses, and supporting documents.
  
• Determine claim coverage, liability, and quantum accurately in accordance with policy wording.
  
• Coordinate with loss adjusters to monitor claim progress and review reports (preliminary, interim, and final reports).
  
• Perform initial investigations on indications of fraud, misrepresentation, or suspicious claims.
  
• Manage communication with brokers, insured parties, and internal teams in a professional and timely manner.
  
• Ensure claims SLA achievements, including turnaround time, document completeness, and decision-making process.
  
• Provide clear, structured, and accountable claim recommendations.

Requirements :

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Engineering, Law, Economics, or related fields will be an advantage.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in non-motor claims handling or loss adjusting.
  
• Strong understanding of Property, CAR/EAR, Marine Cargo, and Liability lines of business.
  
• Familiar with reading and interpreting policy wordings.
  
• Strong Analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Possess basic investigation skills, including red flag awareness.
  
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle brokers and insured parties professionally.
  
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  
• Demonstrate high integrity and good in decision-making.
