About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Civil Engineer with a strong background in concrete work to join our construction team in Idaho. The role involves working on a variety of projects including small commercial buildings, schools, and large residential units. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who is as comfortable on-site with the crews as they are with project plans and technical calculations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and work alongside teams responsible for setting out levels, carpentry, steel fixing, and concrete pouring.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to high-quality standards and in compliance with engineering specifications.
  • Take an active, hands-on role in the physical aspects of the work.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and site teams to meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks.
  • Oversee concrete mix designs, placement techniques, and curing processes to ensure optimal results.
  • Conduct inspections and resolve on-site technical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and site records.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory for TN visa eligibility).
  • Proven experience in concrete construction, including commercial and/or large-scale residential projects.
  • Ability to work closely with and direct carpenters, steel fixers, and concrete pourers.
  • Strong understanding of site set-out and leveling processes.
  • Willingness and ability to undertake physical, on-site work alongside engineering responsibilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.
  • Eligibility for the TN Visa program (Canada/Mexico nationals).
