As we continue to expand our portfolio, we are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to strengthen our Technical Department.

Position Summary

The Civil Engineer is responsible for managing contract administration, budget monitoring, and financial control activities related to CAPEX and OPEX projects across the Company's operating hotel portfolio. The role ensures effective governance of technical contracts, cost management, and financial reporting while supporting the successful execution of maintenance, renovation, and capital investment projects.

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Administer and monitor contracts related to technical projects, maintenance works, renovations, and capital investments.
• Coordinate contract documentation, approvals, renewals, amendments, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor CAPEX and OPEX expenditures across operating hotel properties.
• Review project budgets, forecasts, commitments, and actual expenditures.
• Verify contractor invoices, payment applications, purchase orders, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare cost analyses, financial reports, and management presentations.
• Support tendering and procurement processes for technical projects.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, budgets, project costs, and financial documentation.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Operations, and Technical Services teams.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and capital expenditure planning.
• Monitor financial performance of technical projects and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support management in evaluating investment proposals and project feasibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum seven (7) years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience in contract administration, project cost control, budgeting, or technical financial management.
• Experience within hospitality, construction, real estate, property management, or engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of CAPEX and OPEX management principles.
• Knowledge of procurement and contract management practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong planning and prioritization abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
