Childcare Custodian (Part-Time)

All Around Children is currently accepting applications for a Custodian to add to our growing team at our Gold Rated (SUTQ) childcare and preschool center in Middlefield, Ohio.

In this role, you will support the center in various tasks. Your responsibilities will include daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules including but not limited to classrooms, office areas, bathrooms, storage areas, outdoor playgrounds, and entrances.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, classrooms, and other common areas.
• Complete routine trash removal.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving of cleaning supplies.
• Maintain positive relationships with children, staff and parents, and communicate effectively with all members of the team.
• Attend and participate in professional development and training sessions as needed.

Requirements

• Must be able to work evenings only after 6:00PM for 2-3 hours, 3 days a week.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus.
• Tdap and MMR Vaccination.
• TB Screening.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and bend for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and/or more up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a moderate to noisy environment
