Child Safety Coordinator

Mathnasium is your neighborhood math-only learning center that teaches kids math the way that makes sense to them. Our experienced math tutors utilize our proprietary teaching materials and techniques,The Mathnasium Method™, to deliver a customized learning plan designed to address each student's needs, whether they started out far behind or are already ahead in math. Our instruction approach goes beyond traditional math tutoring to develop understanding and build a love for math.

Part teacher, part principal, part brand ambassador - the Child Safety Coordinator uses their outgoing personality and care for students to support the smooth operation of Mathnasium Learning Center.

Mathnasium runs like a gym, where students drop in at anytime for their personalized instructional session. Because students can attend anytime they would like, we are seeking someone to assist in coordinating the instructional session for each and every student who enters the center.

The Child Safety Coordinator works directly with center leadership and our teachers to coordinate individualized instruction for each student. Much like a restaurant host, you will coordinate each child's instructional session from check-in to check-out, and demonstrate your professionalism while providing direct support for child learning and safety. As you help our center director coordinate instruction each day, you'll contribute to the vibrant atmosphere here at Mathnasium while you encourage students toward success as they build their confidence in math!

If you've got an outgoing personality and desire a future in education, this might be the perfect job for you! We strongly encourage applicants to have above average math skills - with advanced math skills desirable. Social media skills are also desirable.

All candidates for this position will be given a math examination that covers basic math through algebra and geometry, and must pass with at least 70% correct to qualify for this position. Those who score at 80% or above will enter the instructor / tutor track.
