Chemistry Teacher

We are looking for a Chemistry Teacher for a bilingual school based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting in August 2026.

About the school

A bilingual school, which was founded five years ago, is situated in the middle of the Pudong district of Shanghai. It provides bilingual teaching to students from first grade to the 12th grade of elementary, middle and high school. The school follows the Chinese national curriculum and has elements from the British IGCSE and A levels curriculums to meet the academic needs of its students.

Job details

• Teach the school’s chemistry subject to school students aging from 11 to 18 years old
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in chemistry
• Teaching qualification
• At least two years’ teaching experience
• Experience of A-Level or IGCSE students will be beneficial
• Excellent English communicative skills
