As our Robatayaki Chef, you will:

  • Showcase your expertise in Robatayaki grilling techniques, creating innovative and visually stunning dishes that captivate the senses.
  • Develop modern and creative interpretations of traditional Robatayaki dishes, incorporating seasonal ingredients and unique flavor profiles.
  • Lead a team of culinary professionals in the art of Robatayaki, ensuring flawless execution and exceptional presentation of dishes.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create harmonious dining experiences that showcase the best of Japanese cuisine.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene in all Robatayaki preparations.
  • Stay abreast of culinary trends and techniques, continuously seeking opportunities for culinary innovation and creativity.

 

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of professional culinary experience, with at least 3 years specialising in Robatayaki cuisine.
  • Mastery of traditional Robatayaki grilling techniques and a passion for creating modern interpretations of classic dishes.
  • Experience in Sushi and Teppanyaki is highly advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse culinary team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • A deep understanding of Japanese cuisine and culture, with a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
