Schedule & Compensation:
- Part Time Position (20 Hours/week)-flexible hours
- Pay: $27.00/hour.
- Provides pastoral care to residents and their families through regular visitation and in times of need.
- Prepares crisis intervention and responds promptly to all referrals from administration and support services.
- Prepares order of worship and advises residents of place, time and frequencies.
- Assists residents in end of life services to meet their needs, carry out their wishes, preserve their dignity, etc. through empathy, understanding and cooperation.
- Master of Divinity degree or equivalent and be endorsed by religious body to ministries of pastoral care beyond the local congregation preferred.
- Ordination in a mainline Protestant body (UMC, UCC, Presbyterian U.S.A., ELCA, Episcopal Church, American Baptist) preferred.
- One unit of ACPE-accredited clinical pastoral education and three years experience in hospital or eldercare chaplaincy preferred.
